Join us for an exciting two-hour, hands-on training on Saturday, March 14 from 10 AM to 12 PM at New England Base Camp. This session prepares parents and leaders to teach young children and families how to stay safe during disasters and emergencies through fun, engaging activities. You’ll learn how to lead Ready Cub programs, run dynamic community events with first responders, deliver in-school preparedness for health and safety presentations, and use Ready Cub as a powerful recruitment tool.
Participants earn a Ready Cub Leader patch and Council certificate recognizing their accomplishment.
Space is limited to 20 participants.
Please be prepared for a $10 cover charge for course materials. Learn more about our Preparedness Program, including Ready Scout and Teen CERT (also March 14), at www.scoutspirit.org/fema.
