Description: Have you ever built anything cool with tools before? If you join our trained staff at NEBC’s newest program area, the “Magee Maker-Space'' workshop, you’ll get to dream big, and build… well, almost as big!!! We’ll help get you started with the dreaming, designing, and problem-solving processes required for the projects that catch your mind’s-eye. We counselors will then challenge you, both in groups and on your own, to complete different challenges to learn relevant skills such as woodworking, painting, sculpting, carving, and even digital media like photography or movie-making! By the end of the week, we’ll have selected a final project, and be well on our way to making our dreams become real things we make with our hands.
Details:
- This day camp session runs from August 19th to August 23rd,
- Drop-off is from 8:30 - 9 AM and pickup begins when camp ends, 3:45 - 4:15 PM,
- Extended Day (7:45am - 8:30am, 4:30pm - 6pm) can be added onto your camp registration for an additional $100 per week.
